Asteroid

The world was supposed to end last week
Asteroids didn't come
Change came
Heroic
Mind blowing finality
Unthinkable
Open mouths
Uncertainty and fear
For some, the world they knew
Ended
Displaying a future of bleakness
As cold and distant as an asteroid
